This week was all about recuperating after your St. Patrick's Day festivities and enjoying the bit of sunshine that finally peeked out, but this weekend is brimming with fashion and art-related parties. Take a gander at the work of Ryerson University New Media graduates, or pop in to Midnight MRKT's one-year anniversary. Meta 2014

When: March 20-22
Where: The Burroughes, 639 Queen St. W. 
Details: Meta 2014 showcases the talent coming out of the New Media program at Ryerson University. You can expect to see a wealth of innovative projects from young talent over the course of the weekend-long event. The opening reception takes place on Mar. 20 from 5 pm to 10 pm. 

Midnight MRKT 1 Year Anniversary

When: March 21, 9pm to 1 am
Where: 2nd Floor Events, 461 King St. W.
Details: Midnight MRKT is celebrating one whole year with an evening of—what else—shopping, snacks and tunes! Browse goods from Crywolf Clothing, Emily Woudenberg and more, food from vendors such as Desmond & Beatrice, and music from Lucie Tic and Johnny Hockin. Tickets are $5 at the door, or download the Giftagram app either in advance or at the event for free entry. 

Water Docs Film Festival 2014

When: March 21-29
Where: Jackman Hall Theatre, 317 Dundas St. W. 
Details: The Water Docs Film Festival takes place in conjunction with World Water Day and Canada Water Week, and brings together movies, discussions, and events to address issues surrounding water conservation. The festival kicks off at 7 pm on March 21, with the world premiere of Cold Amazon: The Mackenzie River Basin. Tickets for individual films (and festival passes) are available through Brown Paper Tickets

Toronto Vintage Clothing Show

When: March 23, 10 am to 5 pm 
Where: Metro Toronto Convention Theatre, 255 Front St. W.
Details: Vintage lovers, start your engines. The Toronto Vintage Clothing Show gathers vendors from around Canada, and brings together a wealth of vintage scores at a variety of price points—from Chanel, to vintage frocks. Admission is $10, and tickets are available in advance or at the door. 

WORN Fashion Journal Presents: Outer Space Glitter Face

When: March 22, 9 pm to 2 am
Where: Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Road
Details: WORN Fashion Journal is launching its latest issue—number 18 for those keeping count—with a party featuring oldies and vintage tunes from Teddy the K. Advance tickets are $10 and include a copy of the latest, newly minted issue. Wondering about the dress code? Take your cues from the name of the event (glitter, lots and lots of glitter).
