- When Kohl opens this weekend, Smoque ’n’ Bones will have its own whisky-focussed cocktail bar on the second floor above the main restaurant.
- As Toronto Life reported this week, we have now a bakery dedicated to making Thai desserts. Patchmon opened in Bloor West Village. [TL]

- After focusing on introducing Miami to the Cibo Wine Bar concept, Liberty Entertainment Group is returning to Toronto for their fourth location. Expect it to be open on Yonge by June 2015.
Restaurant Coverage
- We got a First Look at the new Annette Food Market in the Junction.
- Several big name Toronto chefs including John Horne, Amanda Ray and Justin Cournoyer (among many others) will be running stations at the annual Eigensinn Farms' annual wild leek and maple syrup fest this weekend.
