Men arrested for a series of bank robberies 
Two male suspects have been arrested in ongoing bank robbery investigations in Toronto and York Region.

On March 18, two male suspects committed a bank robbery in York Region and one in Durham Region. Between April 4 and May 13, these same two males allegedly robbed banks at 1150 Eglinton Ave. W. and 1400 Lawrence Ave. W. For all the robberies, one suspect entered the bank with his face concealed. He vaulted over the counter, demanded money, which he obtained, and exited the bank and fled to a waiting vehicle, driven by another suspect. 

On May 13, a 21-year-old male suspect of Toronto was arrested and charged with six counts of robbery and six counts of disguise with intent. On May 13, a 24-year-old male suspect of Toronto was arrested and charged with five counts of robbery.

Man wanted for sexual assault near Eglinton subway station
Toronto Police Service (TPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a sexual assault investigation.

On Feb. 5, shortly after 8:30 a.m., a 34-year-old female victim was on a southbound TTC subway near Eglinton station when a male passenger sexually assaulted her. The woman exited the subway and the suspect left in an unknown direction.

On Feb. 5, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the victim was at the Eglinton subway station and saw the same suspect. She took a photograph of the suspect, with her cellphone, which has been posted on the TPS website. 

Arrest made for sexual assault near Avenue and Davenport
Toronto Police Service (TPS) have arrested a male suspect for a sexual assault near Avenue Road and Davenport Road.

A 22-year-old female victim posted her resumé on an online job search website. She received a response from a job posting site named 360 Entertainment. 

On April 7, at 4:45 p.m., the victim attended a job interview in the area where a male suspect sexually assaulted her.

A description of the suspect has been posted on the TPS website. Police are concerned that there may be other victims.

Police searching for two men in series of break-ins
One male suspect has been arrested in an ongoing break-in investigation in Midtown Toronto, with two suspects still at large.

Since February 2016, Toronto Police Service (TPS) has had numerous reports of break-ins into commercial premises and synagogues. According to TPS, the break-ins typically occur between midnight and 5 a.m., in the vicinity of Dufferin Street and Bathurst Street.

On May 17, at approximately 3 a.m., a 37-year-old male suspect from Toronto was arrested in 53 Division. He was charged with 26 counts of break-and-enter commit and two counts of theft of vehicle.

Police are still looking for a 38-year-old male and a 43-year-old male, who are also wanted for numerous counts of break-and-enter.
