The Lowe's Toronto Christmas Market kicked off this past weekend, transforming the Distillery District's cobblestone streets into a wintry wonderland that channels the atmosphere of traditional winter markets with its abundance of artisans, seasonal decor, and holiday performances. Just in case that wasn't enough of an opportunity for a romantic interlude, Hendrick's Gin is stepping up to the challenge by launching a kissing booth.

You'll be ushered in by a pair of old-timey characters clad in Victorian-style clothes, and if you find yourself needing a tipple before you lean in for that kiss beneath the mistletoe (or perhaps afterwards), there'll be samples of Hendrick's signature Hot Gin Punch on hand. Just to allay any confusion, you will need to bring your own kissing partner, but the drink—which features gin, Madeira wine, honey, and a hearty helping of festive spices—is sure to help you make fast friends.

The Kissing Booth will be up until December 15 as part of the William Grant and Sons Hospitality Lounge (where you can also sample an assortment of aged scotch whiskies), and you can stop by on Thursdays and Fridays between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., Saturdays from 3 until 7 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
