This epic sub shop has been in North York for almost 40 years, with customers driving in from miles away right up until 3 a.m.! Page and Jian Magen have revitalized the shop, and they are opening new locations around the GTA. Forget the big chains that just can’t compare. The namesake sub comes with beef, salami, mushrooms and hot gravy — plus the traditional veggie toppings, mustard and sub sauce. I was stunned to learn it has close to a day’s worth of calories, two days’ worth of fat and over a day’s sodium intake. Next time go for the turkey sub with loads of extra veggies!
