For those who love watching the sitcom Parks and Recreation, you’ll remember Aziz Ansari’s character, Tom, referring to a sandwich as a “Sandoozle.” At Sandoozles, the namesake sandwich consists of ground brisket; smoked bacon; aged cheddar; and, for good measure, another heaping mound of Montreal-style smoked meat! At almost 1,000 calories, it’s close to an entire day’s worth of fat and sodium, so you better not eat much else the rest of the day.
Meat lovers should try my delicious version of pulled pork, served with BBQ sauce and caramelized onions. This savoury sandwich is worth the wait, and it’s a whole lot healthier!
