Come the end of the old nine-to-five, office workers quickly populate the theatre district's O&B Canteen. An expansive view out to the street (thanks to two walls of windows) affords diners a glimpse of the evermore present sun as they tuck into comforting eats or sip on a cocktail prior to an eve with American Idiot.
Here, the winter menu's signature drink is the French 25 — seemingly a twist on the classic French 75 ($11). Traditionally, the 75 combines gin with Champagne, fresh lemon juice and sugar; here, blood orange adds the citrus element while the bubbly comes in the form of Cava. Meanwhile the gin — London Dry — is infused with rosemary, imbuing the tipple with a subtle herbal kick.
And if their drinks list doesn't quite tickle your fancy, just ask — a fully-stocked bar allows for almost anything under the sun to be made.
