THE TALENTS OF acclaimed Bauhaus architect Ed Zeidler are on full display at his Rosedale residence that combines modern architecture and traditional elements in stunning fashion. Zeidler designed the majestic house for his family back in the 1960s and chose a slope dipping into the Rosedale ravine to construct his own dream home. The seven-bedroom home features a two-storey living room enhanced by a dramatic wall of glass adorned with slanting skylights. The dining room is cantilevered over the living room. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass wall of sliding doors to a private deck surround the master bedroom. Additional skylights give the impression of limitless light. Outside, multiple-tiered decks reach into the ravine filled with giant oak trees.
