The last week of December is an excellent time for reflection. I try not to pay too much attention to readership numbers during the year, but allow myself a break from that rule to tally what stories did the best with our readers over the past twelve. Here are your eight favourite articles from the (roughly defined) arts, sports and culture category. 

Those afraid that this list would be just a popularity contest won by the glossiest faces can rest easy since our guide to Shakespeare in High Park did a remarkable job of securing a spot in the top 8.

Mind you, many of spots here go to the household names of the last fifty years in music. Namely, our concert review of AC/DC at Downsview Park, the retrospective on Rush celebrating the 40th anniversary of their debut album, and U2's back-to-back Toronto shows all scored well.

For a few weeks this summer (and fall!) all eyes in Toronto were on the Blue Jays' remarkable late run. More often than not, our ears were tuned to the announcing done by Buck Martinez and we have a story on how he and his wife Arlene met 40 years ago.

Despite the rise of Netflix, stories on network TV stars clearly resonated with Post City readers. Our profiles on Italia Ricci (Chasing Life) and Sarah Levy (Schitt's Creek) both cracked the top five. 

And the top post in the category for 2015 was our cover profile on Richmond Hiller Scott McGillivray, the host of HGTV's Income Property. Apparently, there's no one-two punch quite like local TV star meets real estate for Toronto readers.
