One of the liveliest bands this city has produced, featuring Kate Fenner and Dave Wall.

5. Crabbuckit, k-os
Infectious beats, bright and beautiful like a dose of musical sunshine. 

6. Hot Dreams, Timber Timbre
A song about a bead of sweat dripping slowly down sun-drenched skin … and whatnot. 

7. Reservoir, PUP 
This killer party tune and video propelled the Toronto band to huge heights.

8. Up on Cripple Creek, The Band
Sure they’re a T.O. band, and this song is a porch pleaser from way back.

9. Wheat Kings, The Tragically Hip
Well, it starts with a loon call and it’s the Hip, so ’nuff said.
