What do you get when you mix an empty parking lot, 70 of Toronto’s best chefs, 39 food carts, local beverages, designers, and live performers?
The Stop’s Third Annual Night Market! This year’s market will be held on Tuesday June 16 and Wednesday June 17 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at a new location, 181 Sterling Rd. in Toronto’s Junction triangle area. Their 2015 market promises to be their biggest event yet, with room for more vendors and ticket holders. Tickets go on sale at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13 at the night market website and are $100 a piece, which includes all food and drinks. Be prepared once the 13th rolls around because last year’s tickets sold out in under an hour.

While you’re indulging in culinary greatness you can rest assured that you’re helping to feed someone less fortunate than you through one of The Stop’s many food programs. With the purchase of a $100 ticket you’ll be giving someone 20 meals in The Stop’s Drop-in, or providing four families with healthy food hampers from the food bank. The money from a ticket purchase can also help increase access to urban agriculture, community cooking and educational programming for children and adults.
The Night Market is a 19+ event and serves beverages from local breweries, wineries, and coffee houses. The real pièce de résistance is the food and chefs featured at the event. Find a full list of vendors here.
Last year the market raised $149,000 and hopes to surpass that number this year.
