The Wildass White is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Gewürztraminer and Riesling. Golden straw colour. The Gewürz sings through on the nose, aromatic and lychee-driven. Off-dry, full-bodied, intense flavours of grapefruit, peach and lychee. A beautiful blend with great length and a lovely mouth-feel.
Food match: roast chicken, light, curried dishes.
Wildass White 2009, VQA Ontario, $19.95 (Vintages #85100)
