On Saturday, a private streetcar ride to some of Toronto's pubs will have you forgetting about the grueling weekday commute (or suddenly thinking it's not so bad). That evening, join fellow synthpop fans at the TRUST show, and cure your Sunday hangover with a three-course brunch with special cocktails by a Toronto mixologist. Long Winter

Details: Consider this instalment of Long Winter one massive party to get rid of your winter blues, with a little help from music, DJs, karaoke, art, film, food and puppets (yes, puppets). There's something for everyone, especially those looking to start their weekend off right. The entrance fee is pay what you can and don't forget to bring a crew 'cause this one's all ages.
Toronto ComiCon

Details: In what world can you find Napoleon Dynamite, Gustavo Fring of Breaking Bad and your favourite Star Wars characters all in one place? In the world of ComiCon, of course. Attend comic-sketching workshops, explore the artist alley, shop at over 100 retailers and more. A weekend pass is $45 and a one-day pass for children is $10.
Great Canadian streetcar pubcrawl
When: Mar. 8, 5 pm
Where: Pauper's Pub, 539 Bloor St. West
Details: Non-profit organization S-drive will host the Great Canadian streetcar pubcrawl, which will take you around town on a privately chartered streetcar—fancy, huh? You'll hit four of Toronto's finest pubs (the locations may surprise you) while you mix 'n' mingle with other young professionals. Purchase tickets from S-drive for $49.
TRUST

Where: Adelaide Hall, 250 Adelaide St. West
Details: Get your Saturday night dancing shoes on because TRUST is coming home! Toronto's homegrown synthpop group is bound to take you on wild ride and get your pulse racing to the beat of the synthesizer. General admission is $21.
¡A Huevo! Pop-Up Brunch
When: Mar. 9, 12 pm and 1:30 pm
Where: The Atlantic, 1597 Dundas St. West
Details: Bid your weekend adieu with a three-course, Mexican-inspired Sunday brunch complete with cocktails hosted by mixologist Alexander Stanojevic and his father, chef Goran Stanojevic. Word on the street is that the 3 pm slot is full, but there's space during the 12 pm and 1:30 pm sittings. The prix fix menu is $35 per person.
School Shucks – Oyster Class
