Shoe Fetish: these riding boots from Rudsak

Winter is upon us, and the cold has officially become public enemy Number One. Fortunately, Rudsak is a Canadian brand, meaning that they understand a thing or two about Northern winters.

Launched in 1994 by Erik Asatoorian, the brand originated in Montreal, which—with all due respect to last weekend’s impressive snowfall—has us beat for the bone-chilling trudge of its winter.

The Babilonia over-the-knee riding boots (shown in Cohiba Brown but also available in Black) feature a rounded toe, and button-studded side strap. They're a good bet for staying upright when the weather turns icy, thanks to the signature Rudsak tractor rubber sole.

They're 100% leather, so they will need a bit more loving care than your impermeable galoshes, but will do a good job of obscuring your extra-tall, extra-fleecy wool socks. So go ahead and feign indifference to the cold—nobody will be the wiser.
