Tony Aspler’s Weekly Wine Pick: a medium-bodied sparkling rosé

The wine, from the region where they make Prosecco, is very pale pink with a lilac note. The bouquet suggests cherries and Meyer lemon. The palate is medium-bodied and dry with a sour cherry flavour. Very elegant.

Food match: aperitif wine; cold chicken
