There are reports of a fire at Bloor-Yonge Station on the Yonge subway line in the northbound tunnel. A witness on the train that was at the platform, explained that she was asked to evacuate the train and could see the glow of the fire in the tunnel and coming towards the train when the power was cut.
Toronto Fire is on the scene and it is reported that an explosion at track level caused the incident.

The TTC said there is no train service currently between St. Clair and College Stations and shuttle buses are on the way to transport passengers between stations.
