Two people are dead after they were hit by a UP Express train at Bloor GO station, near Eglinton Avenue West and Weston Road on Monday evening.

The victims—pronounced dead at the scene—were a teenage boy and a teenage girl, sources told City News.
Police were called to the area at around 10 p.m. after reports of a person struck by a train. The collision stopped service last night; shuttle buses ran between Union and Etobicoke North GO stations.
“UP Express service is not running to or from Union due to a person struck by the UP train. Guests travelling to Pearson: we are providing an express bus service to Pearson. At Weston express buses will pick up to run to Pearson. Bloor GO customers are directed to use the TTC,” UP Express noted on X.

Service resumed as usual on Tuesday morning.
