This November, Swifties in Toronto will have a chance to participate in the ultimate Taylor Swift fan experience, Taylgate, prior to her sold-out ‘The Eras Tour’ concerts at the Rogers Centre.
Swift will perform across two weekends — from Nov. 14 to 16 and Nov. 21 to 23. Prior to her performances, the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (a 5-minute walk from the Rogers Centre) will be transformed into Toronto’s Version: Taylgate ’24, which will run daily on those dates from 1 p.m. until 11 p.m.

The 150,000 square feet of indoor space has the capacity to welcome more than 12,000 fans each day, and will feature live DJ sets, interactive dances, and sing-along spaces, putting Swifties in the mood prior to her concert.
Fans can meet up with their friends and make Taylor-inspired friendship bracelets in the giant exchange area. There will also be a makeup station with professional makeup artists on site to give fans concert-ready touch-ups (fans can even imitate Swift’s bold red lips). There will be photo-ops around the venue for fans to commemorate the night with their concert squads. Better yet, Swifites can ‘Shake it off’ with fellow concertgoers at the dance arcade or purchase concert-ready merch ahead of the event.
The event — which will be supporting two Canadian charities: Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada as well as the Daily Bread Food Bank — will also feature waiting lounges so parents/guardians not attending the concert can wait in peace.
“We have a commitment to create the best possible experience for the artist’s fans and Torontonians; both those who did and didn’t get tickets to the big show,” Joel Wolinsky, producer and co-founder of Toronto’s Version, said in a press release.
The last time Swift was in Toronto was in September 2022 for the TIFF premiere of All Too Well, a film about a young woman and man finding their love ultimately ending.
Tickets to Taylgate ’24 are available for $55 at torontosversion.com.
