The Pie Commission was the brain child of two high school buddies who wanted Torontonians to get a taste of bloody good meat pies. Patrick and Mike split up after high school and left Toronto to travel the world. One of them in Australia and one in the U.K., both guys came to love the delicious savoury pies. Upon returning to Toronto, they realized there was nowhere to go and have a great meat pie in the city, and so the Pie Commission was born. Baking fresh p es every-day, this take-away spot is a great option for lunch on the go. The Pie Commission has six different pies on the menu, including flavours like butter chicken, braised beef rib and pulled pork. It also has a veggie option and a sausage roll, another Aussie classic, on the menu for guests looking for something a little different than a classic pie.
