La cigogne, or stork, is a symbol of the Alsace region of France, where it is thought to bring good luck.

At Patisserie La Cigogne, French master pastry chef Thierry Schmitt aims to provide Alsatian delicacies from the land of the stork. Traditional French desserts, like croquembouches, pastries, breads and chocolate, have earned La Cigogne a devoted Leaside clientele.

At La Cigogne, they do wedding cake and cakes for special occasions, as well as everyday “I just want to eat a cake” cakes.

La Cignogne also offers bread, croissants, tourtières and quiche.
