Buster's Sea Cove

The latest vessel in Tom Antonarakis’s fleet of restaurants is officially open — his third seafood venture since taking over the original at St. Lawrence Market over 8 years ago. His market roots morphed into a food truck and then into a standalone store with Market Street Catch, his licensed restaurant kitty-corner to the market.
Buster’s Sea Cove has been reinvented here, as Tom says: “This is the culmination of my brand.” The gussied up grab-and-go format in the food court of a PATH connected office tower at 120 Bremner Blvd shares the snazzy space with new neighbours like Sushi Shop, Z-Teca (still under construction), Starbucks and Thai Express.
Fisherman fare that’s food court friendly is Tom’s focus, so expect a menu that’s similar to his market shop and food truck; with sandwiches, salads and tacos meshing with fish n’ chips and other deep fried goodies. Fans of Buster’s know it’s all about the lobster roll and here, at the PATH location you’ll find the mighty lobster’s crustacean cousin — the crawfish, making its appearance in roll form as well ($13.95 with your choice of fries or salad).
Tacos at Buster’s Sea Cove will set you back $5 and mixing and matching is encouraged. Here Halibut, Octopus and Seared Ahi Tuna (plus Shrimp, not pictured) come dressed with fresh toppings like salsa fresca, slaw and a dose of crema for good measure.

The swordfish sandwich from Buster's Sea Cove
Sandwich offerings spread between deep fried crawfish, shrimp or calamari po’ boy style, or from the grill, healthier options like halibut, rainbow trout, Atlantic salmon, tilapia or this sashimi grade Swordfish Sandwich ($9.95) with side slaw on crispy pressed bread (add $3 for fries or salad).
Seven options round out Buster’s Sea Cove's grilled menu, all served with fries or salad, with tilapia, calamari, shrimp, octopus, halibut, swordfish or fresh Atlantic salmon ($12.95) making the grade.
While the food court will keep steady business hours Monday to Friday until 6pm sharp, Tom does have the option to open on weekends, and considering the proximity to Rogers and Air Canada Centre, there may be a few less foot longs sold around these parts come summer.
