Sister restaurant to the popular beer hall Bar Volo, this Little Italy hideout is the perfect place to have a beer and a bite. Birreria Volo is a rustic, Italian-style bar focusing on its constantly rotating list of wild ales, natural wine, ciders and snacks. The hideaway feeling is brought on by the historical alley you must travel down to find this little restaurant. The dimmed lights and rundown interior is reminiscent of an old Italian wine cellar. The sliver of space allows for an extended bar and a strip of seating that follows one line all the way to the back of the space. Service is only available at the bar, so make sure to order before grabbing a seat. If you're able to snag a table, you might meet some interesting folks as all the tables here are communal. The menu is chock full of some amazing Italian small bites and snacks, including a lengthy list of charcuterie and cheese.
