Going on the list of Toronto restaurant openings — Piano Piano in particular — it’s tough to dispute the idea that owners and chefs and leaning to the more casual concepts.
Just Opened
- PIano PIano, Victor Barry’s comfortable Italian spot has opened in the old Splendido space on Harbord. And, yes, there’s pizza on the menu.
- Yoram Gabay, one of the former partners who founded Dr Laffa, has opened a sit-down version of Dr Laffa On the Go in the Sobey's plaza in Thornhill.
- On their Facebook page, Asada Mexican Grill announced that their new location at 1991 Yonge St. opened this week.
- According to blogTO, the former home of the Geraldine on Queen West has become an Asian fusion restaurant called Daiko.
