Casa Loma is getting Medieval on Toronto with Imagine Dragons

The Imagine Dragons immersive theatre experience will transform Casa Loma, Toronto’s iconic mansion, into a fairy-tale castle complete with dragons, fairies, and fair maidens.

Liberty Entertainment Group is announcing the opening of Imagine Dragons – Light Forest with tickets going on sale today and is currently scheduled to premiere July 21 in accordance with the province’s Stage Three re-opening plan.

The event will run 5 days a week from Wednesday to Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (last admission) through the end of August.

“Imagine Dragons at Casa Loma will leave guests of all ages breathless with excitement, feeling like they’ve travelled to another place and time,” explained Nick DiDonato, CEO of Liberty Group, in a press release.

“It’s the perfect summer fantasy adventure and antidote to staying at home for the entire family, designed safely with all protocols in place. We’re expecting a fantastic response to what will surely be one of the greatest experiential events of the season in our city.”

According to a press release, the experience features a lighting and laser show, and a slew of Medieval displays around the Casa Loma grounds, historic tunnels, and stables. There will also be interactive live performances by costumed characters.

Imagine Dragons is designed as a self-guided walk along a 2-km trail and appropriate for the entire family. All current protocols are in place. The event entrance is on the southwest corner of the property at Davenport Rd. and Walmer Rd.
