With the average price for a detached home in the city hitting $1,708,437 in March and $1,466,397 in the GTA, affordable single-family living feels like a pipe dream. But a new report has found the top 10 most affordable detached homes in the GTA — and a whole bunch of them are in Toronto.
The Zoocasa report looked at detached homes currently on the market in the GTA, finding homes ranging from a three-bedroom Oshawa home with luxury finishes listed for under $700,000 and a recently renovated three-level Etobicoke home for under $900,000. Many of the homes on the top 10 list came in under $700,000 — so, with that benchmark in mind, we’ve rounded up the most affordable detached homes on the market in Toronto right now, all listed for less than $700,000.
