Canada’s second-most expensive home is at the top of this new Toronto tower

Surrounded by the couture shops and fine dining of Yorkville, suite 8000-1 Bloor St. W. will soon pierce the clouds and offer an exclusive bird’s eye view of Toronto — all for an eye-watering price of $34,981,778. The unit is officially the most expensive residential property in Ontario, and the second-most expensive home in all of Canada.

A study from Point2Homes evaluated the most expensive homes in every province and in 25 of the country’s largest cities and found this Toronto property was second only to a massive Vancouver estate listed for $59.8 million.

The One, an 80-story mixed residential tower at 1 Bloor St. W. with a planned completion date of 2024, will scrape Toronto’s skyline as one of Canada’s tallest buildings.

With nine stories of retail space, a hotel and 416 residences, The One will also feature a selection of ultra-luxury, fully customizable suites on the top 23 floors. Amenities will include five-star concierge services for your every whim, a heated 8,200-square-foot garden terrace with snow-melting systems, an infinity pool, dining experiences and a fitness level.

Part of The Limited Collection, 8000-1 Bloor St. W. offers a whole new level of luxury. It will feature six plus two bedrooms and eight bathrooms amid nearly 9,000 square feet of space spanning multiple floors.
