Although its formal mail address is suite 3306 at 21 Iceboat Terrace, this showstopping property is better known as the bridge suite. It’s one of two units located in a skybridge connecting two Concord buildings, making it the highest and largest suspended residence in the country.

A team of structural engineers from Halcrow Yolles and architects from Kohn Pendersen and IBI Group worked to create this 4,168 square foot marvel. It took over 14 hours to lift the 450-tonne bridge into place, which officially cemented the property into Toronto’s skyline.

Its three-storey interior was done by LIV Design Studio. The grand bridge suite features three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an 823-square-foot terrace. It’s listed for a fitting $4.55 million.

Floor-to-ceiling windows span an entire wall on the main level, providing panoramic views of the lake.

Two seating areas are separated by a double-sided fireplace.

Structural pillars along the windows bring a slight industrial feel to the floor plan. The dining area is conveniently located beside the kitchen.

Brown hardwood, integrated appliances and marble countertops were used to design the kitchen.
