Yorkdale Shopping Centre is at it again. Just a few months after unveiling a $220-million, 145,000-square-foot expansion, the mall has announced a new, even bigger addition that’s set to be completed by 2016.

Shop Talk: Tiger of Sweden opens on Ossington

Tiger of Sweden is the latest addition to the ever-swankier Ossington strip, joining the likes of Gravitypope and Jonathan + Olivia on the once vintage-heavy row. The label got its start back in the motherland in 1903 as the sole source of bespoke tailors around. In those days, the folks behind the name would roll carts down Stockholm’s streets, attracting curious customers with their visible approach.

Popular shoe purveyor John Fluevog announces a second Toronto location

Since the ’70s, Canadian shoe designer John Fluevog has earned renown for his innovative footwear for men and women (Madonna and Perry Farrell are, apparently, fans). Fluevog’s first Toronto location opened on Queen West in 1989, and now the Distillery District is set to house the city’s second location at 55 Mill Street.

Unttld kicked things into gear on day four. Undoubtedly the day’s most successful collection — and likewise one of the strongest all week — designers José Manuel St-Jacques and Simon Bélanger had a hauntingly beautiful, all-black vision for fall.
